A Spanish press report revealed, today, Tuesday, Rome’s Mourinho desire to sign Belgian Eden Hazard, Real Madrid’s star, in the current summer Mercato.
Hazard has been suffering from unnatural misfortune since his move to Real Madrid, as injuries followed him to the point that he participated in only 43 games in two seasons.
According to the Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo” , the Portuguese Jose Mourinho, the new technical director of Rome, who previously supervised Hazard’s training in Chelsea, is seeking to join him in the ranks of the Giallorossi this summer.
She added that Mourinho asked the Roma administration to sign Hazard on loan, after learning that Real Madrid would welcome his departure.
The newspaper stated, that Hazard wants to stay at Real Madrid, and Zinedine Zidane, the coach, wants to continue within the team, if he remains in his position, but the future of the duo is unclear.
She indicated that Roma would like to borrow Hazard in exchange for an amount to be agreed upon with part of his salary of 15 million euros.
The newspaper concluded that Roma will not be the only team seeking to include Hazard, but there is Chelsea as well.
She pointed out that Hazard stated before 2018, “If they ask me about the coach I want to work with again, I will say Mourinho.”
