To achieve this, they notably defeated Atalanta Bergamo, the best attack in Europe (0-2) on home soil. Holder for the latter in the championship of the season; Bennacer played 60 minutes before giving way to Souailho Meite. Milan finished 2nd, Atalanta 3rd and Bennacer ended his season with a record of ten starts and three assists (out of 21 games played in total), he who was long excluded from the terrins following recurring muscle injuries during the last winter.
As for Lazio in Rome, the last day was just a way to end in style a season where they notably won a qualification for the knockout stages of the Champions League. Mohamed Fares , who has only started seven times (for 21 games played in total and only one assist) in the league, it is the injury of Joaquin Correa in the 19th minute that allowed him to make his entry at stake for the meeting between Sassuolo and Lazio. The Laziale were defeated (2-0) and finished in 6th place in Serie A, thus qualifying for the Europa League.
